Route for the day: Pucón – ?Conguillío National Park. Drive through the Huequehue National Park on dirt tracks and lava. Journey onward beside the Llaima volcano and to the Conguillío National Park, now famous for its monkey-puzzle trees. Overnight camping in the North of the National Park.

Itinerary for the day Conguillío National Park – Lago Aluminé?. Cross the Andes via the Paso de Pino Hachado (altitude 1,864 metres). Border crossing from Chile into Argentina. Overnight camping on the shore of Lake Aluminé.

Route for the day: Lago Aluminé – San Martín de los Andes?. Drive through an enchanting mountainscape in the foothills of the Andes and the Argentinian Lake District. Evening meal together and hotel accommodation.
