Past ancient ruins, the cactus-dotted Sierra del Quilmes, and the highest volcano on Earth, this stage takes the participants through the spectacular landscapes of Chile to Bariloche in Argentina. In Chile, they will enjoy a night at a campsite beside the fascinating Laguna Verde and a visit to one of the many observatories in the region. Stunning mountain landscapes and untamed national parks promise unforgettable experiences with Nature.

?Route for the day: Salta – Quilmes; After familiarisation with the vehicles, drive on dirt roads to Quilmes in the shadow of the foothills of the Andes. Visit to ruins left by the Quilmes Indians, over 1000 years old. Evening meal together and overnight accommodation in the hostel.
