Itinerary for the day Vicuna – Las Flores?. Cross the Andes via the Passo de Agua Negro (altitude 4,779 metres) past majestic rock formations which seem to glow in every colour of the rainbow. Drive between snow-capped peaks, border formalities. Camping overnight on the Argentinian side of the Paso Agua Negro.

Route for the day: Las Flores – Medoza?. Drive along an extension of the Andes through the San Juan region to Mendoza. Evening meal together and hotel accommodation.

Rest day in Mendoza. Visit to one of the renowned wine-making estates in the region. Overnight accommodation in hotel.

Route for the day: Medoza – Los Andes?. Drive West to the nearest pass through the Andes. Cross the region where the movie "Seven Years in Tibet" was filmed. Sightseeing visit to the natural stone bridge Puente del Inca. Onward journey part the highest mountain in South America, Aconcagua (6,963 metres). Border crossing through a 3,900 metre long tunnel through the mountains. Overnight accommodation at a hostel in Los Andes.
