Back to the Andes Highlands! After visiting the ancient cities of the Incas, XWORLD leaves Cusco and Machu Picchu behind. The Panamerican Highway, the Panamericana, follows Peru's beautiful Pacific coast. The journey continues on gravel tracks up into the Andes Highlands, with passes between Bolivia and Chile at altitudes well above 4,000 metres. Absolute highlight: Travel to and overnight camp on the largest salt flat in the world.
