Continue journey through the national park. Border formalities, leave Chile enter into Argentina. Drive North on the famous Routa 40. Overnight accommodation in the hostel in El Calafate.

Route for the day: Perito Moreno Glacier. Day trip to the famous Perito Moreno Glacier, the "King of Glaciers", in the Los Glaciares National Park. Overnight accommodation in the hostel in El Calafate.

Route for the day: El Calafate – El Chaltén. Along the shore of Lago Argentino, back onto Routa 40. Follow the course of the Santa Cruz River through the Patagonian steppe to the Atlantic Coast. Onward journey to the Monte Leon National Park, where sea lions and Magellan penguins can be seen. Evening meal together and overnight camping in the national park.
